IGT8 is proud to announce the release of our new GT platform, the “IGT8 Red”. It is the latest evolution of our original “IGT8 GT Pro” which has proven to be, not only a very competitive car with many race wins since its release in 2014, but also the most AFFORDABLE GT chassis on the market. The new IGT8 Red incorporates many new features, however don’t let the great quality, looks and performance fool you, the IGT8 Red is still the most affordable high performance GT car on the market.
CNC red anodized suspension brackets with plastic inserts to adjust arm angles, center of gravity and toe. Also allows steering pins to be more horizontal reducing overall caster. Please refer to basic setup when building the car and adjust to track conditions as needed.
One of the most important improvements of this car is the carbon fiber shock towers which provides a totally new suspension geometry and changes the way the car performs providing better stability and traction.
This option gives a smoother and more reliable drive train. Also making it easier to service the car and includes aluminum pin holders anodized in red.
After many hours of testing under different conditions, the aluminum insert combined with high quality metal shield bearings have proven to last many hours beyond the previous plastic insert that was used with the GT “Pro” edition.
A thinner sway bar combined with the new suspension geometry, suspension brackets and the 10-degree C hub, gives this new car better corner speed while maintaining stability out of the corner.
A 7mm rear hex provides wider rear track width, improving stability on power and better turn in off power. This change combined with keeping the 5mm front hex keeps steering reactive.
10-degree Red anodized caster blocks when combined with suspension brackets, reduces the overall caster angle of the car. 12-degree plastic caster block as a tuning option have also been included.
3 hybrid clutch system (2 aluminum 1 carbon) flywheel is anodized in red and comes with hard Springs and 3 adjustable positions.
A harder servo saver spring allows steering to react quicker to servo inputs while still protecting the servo from damage.
Brake cam rides in bearings to provide a precise and more progressive breaking front and rear.
Part of the new geometry for the car includes smaller rear shocks allowing the car to rotate better. It also makes for easier tuning, as all springs (front and rear) are the same size. 1.3 and 1.4mm pistons are included for both front and rear for fine tuning, as well as new options for softer springs as an option.
Carbon fiber shock towers comes with more options for camber link angles and distance to adjust car to different layouts, conditions and traction easier.
Improved plastic for bulkhead and differentials are included to make sure the screws to not back out. This eliminate problems with screws coming loose after a long period of time and requires less maintenance.
Included in the kit are 4 servo saver bearings to improve steering smoothness and precision.
Nylon fuel tank with overflow channel that releases at the bottom of the chassis to the ground preventing overflow to go into the car. Tank is supported by 2 red anodized aluminum posts.
The IGT8 signature roll bar not only protects your engine from damage during a collision, it also provides a convenient way to carry the car while servicing or pitting instead of deforming the body. The wire roll bar is covered with plastic and has 2 red anodized adapters.
Harder suspension plastic with more carbon provides less flex for better response.
Made of harder plastic gives better servo response. It comes with a throttle servo side cover and reinforcement between the throttle servo and receiver box.

The IGT8 RED comes with all the necessary parts to be a competitive race car: However, we also have a great selection of option parts to satisfy even the most demanding racer. Most of the optional parts are intended to reduce weight in the car. The IGT8 Red is very close to minimum weight so please make sure to check car weight after adding any optional parts to make sure you comply with your local track rules.
This optional rear body support prevents the rear portion of the body from bending down and helps prevent body tucks. It also allows the rear wing to have more support and creates better down force.
Made of high grade titanium, this set of 100 screws replace the original steel screws in the kit.
